I bought it because it was compact and looks cool, i take it with me almost everywhere, portability and connectivity are really important and this little gem has both at a great price. i added a powered 4 port usb2 hub so i can connect a usb burner, an external hard drive and printer. i would recommend it as a great buy. |

I got this for my wife and I can say that this is a great buy for us, except... for when I got this, there was not recovery disk. I know that this does not come with disk drive but, what about a USB for recovering OS when this one crashes. So what happens if this thing really crashes what's gonna happen to it? I'm buying again an OS just to re-install? That what made me pissed off about this product. I'm almost sure I paid for the OS, right? Overall though, I love it and my wife does too. I'm looking to upgrade, if I can, the memory. So Acer, just give me back my OS disk. Please. |

I had read many reviews of the Aspire One before purchasing a refurbished unit, but still was unsure about the quality, etc. I have used it for some time now, and overall find it to be a very good netbook. It seems reasonably fast, and handles all chores I put to it (mostly internet, but some documents, etc). The screen size seems a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but this may be because my previous netbook had a tiny 7 inch screen. My biggest complaint is the trackpad. Do you self a favor and get a wireless mouse- you won't be disappointed!
This is a great netbook if you need something light and small to carry around when a big bulky laptop is too much! |

when it arrived I charged it and got it on my wireless router with no trouble.My wife is the main user and loves it.Like other reviewers said it is a lot better with a mouse.It is used for web surfing and email mainly .size is good for travel.Planning to get a usb dvd for it.When McAfee trial was over used the free AVG antivirus.Screen is small but what do you expect for the great compact size.Win xp is great. No trouble putting it on home network with 2 desktops running win 7. Great for the price |

This Acer is a refurb that I bought for $210. I am very pleased with the abilities of this netbook. Runs the internet and MS Office 2007 without any issue. It also runs some of my statistical software a little slower than my desktop, but still acceptable. This netbook is great for travelling. The keyboard is OK in size, but do take the time to get a mouse for it. I bought a $15 portable DVD carrying case to carry the netbook and accessories around. The touchpad is workable but a mouse is better. Overall, a great buy and highly recommended. |
