I had an AM2 CPU sitting arourd, bought this board to mate it to. Everything works fine. If I recall correctly, this board was compatible with a range of different speed DDR2 RAMs--I beleive I used 800 speed boards with no problems. |

Board was a plug and play replacement for a failed board from brand X that didn't last a full year. Seems to work good. Only unknown will be durability. |

I bought an Asus motherboard for more money and had problems with the audio. I returned it and bought this one and had no problems. It was so wonderful I bought another to upgrade another computer. Great job Gigabyte-no more Asus for me.

bought this mobo back in feb of 09. Got a 2.40ghz 5800+ dual processor with it. Runs like a champ! Pretty decent motherboard! Im getting ready to upgrade its cpu to a quad core!! |

The motheboard got here in 2 days when i ordered for only 3. Talk about fast! Now while installing it i'm not sure if its supposed to make little sounds like cracking when putting the screws in and stuff. Oh well. Got here super fast and looks great in my case |

my mobo will not come out of hibernation, i have 2 boards from gigabyte, one for amd and the other for pentium, both has problems coming out of hiberantion, if I knew this i would have gone with ecs, never had a problem with their board. system running for 3 years and never had a problem, except the video card, easy fix. |

I could not afford the MOBO that I really wanted, but this MOBO is more than affordable as a transitional board. I especially love the Dual Bios feature. This board is not for the hard-core gamer but it is extremely reasonable for the price. |

I've built three of these and it's a great board with good features and good performance. The first two were WinXP pro and wored like a champ. Third one was Vista and I could not get the on board audio to work...even returned one board thinking it was defective..same problem with the replacement. Finally after installing a separate audio card, I found the Vista audio driver off the site and all is working well now. They should update their enclosed cd to provide the driver or make it easier to find. otherwise good board and great service. |
