this motherboard is great this board has many features and pci slots windows 7 drivers and programs must be downloaded i havent had any problems express gate crashed my pc but this is a very good board for gaming etc i would recommend this one the sound and video quality is very amazing |

useing this MOBO as an over time build which will finally be complete next week.. then i can flip the switch.. just hope i dont end up with a DUD DOA too... Crosses fingers! |

Second ASUS board I ever owned. The SP97V was excellent, set up great, but the M4N78 Pro gave me great difficulty with the HD Audio driver. Windows wants to install NVIDIA, but it has onboard VIA. The updated driver from ASUS makes no difference, and a patch apparently exists, but not for SP3. In the end, Windows XP SP3 had errors, and no audio playback device existed. I had to install a SB Live 5.1 PCI card, which works fine. Turn off the express gate in BIOS for a much faster boot. |
