A good quality HP laptop at this price is tough to beat. It is not a hi-performance system, but it is more than adequate for accessing the Internet, email, photo editing and using Office applications.
Pros: The additional 1GB of memory (2GB total) was an add-on that installed very easily. Keyboard has solid, quality feel to it. This system was very responsive once I removed all McAfee software, installed/used free AVG and Microsoft Defender, and cleaned up/minimized startup applications and other performance inhibitors. After updating drivers, accessing Internet using encrypted wireless was VERY fast when compared to several other laptops I've had.
Cons: The screen will momentarily black out when accessing some applications which is a small nuisance. The DVD player seemed a little flimsy when using it. The laptop seemed to run hot for a Celeron, once I raised the rear of the laptop for use it seemed to cool it down and made keyboard more comfortable for use.
I do recommend it.

This computer has everything I wanted and then some. I am even able to play World of Warcraft on it with no problems. I highly recommend this computer for all your computing needs. You dont need to by anything else except the Ethernet cord to connect to the internet. Plugged it right into my router with no problems connecting.

My HP was delivered Friday and I'm absolutely loving it! Can't find a thing about it I don't enjoy. Right out of the box it was amazing and for the price you just can beat it. It has exceeded my expectations, I had my doubts but was delightfully pleased.
