This player has been one of mu best DVD player. It acutally plays my standard DVDs better than any player I have seen. It was easy to set-up too.

I had read previous reviews saying that this was an average bluray player and that a few folks didn't like it as much as they had hoped. I can honestly say that its a great bluray player, especially for $140! What more do you want for that money? I have a Pioneer plasma, and this works seamlessly with it. The blurays look fantastic, and the upscaling of older DVDs is terrific. I upgraded my firmware on the player in about 3 minutes. Its a great player and a great buy. I don't stream movies, so that missing feature didn't matter to me at all. If someone wants on demand movies, they can manage that via their cable or satellite box. Highly recommended.
