Works great for my purposes - as a wireless access point connected to my existing wired network. My wireless devices ''saw'' the access point as soon as I plugged it into the router -- without any configuration. However, since I wanted to set up security restrictions on the access point, I tried to run the included configuration utility. For some reason, the setup utility did not ''see'' the access point - even thought my wireless devices did. Eventually, I ended up adding security restrictions to the access point by manually accessing the device - using Internet Explorer to the access point's factory default IP address (192.168.1.245, subnet 255.255.255.0). By default, there's no user ID and the password is ''admin'', by the way. Otherwise, the unit works perfectly and looks brand new!

Works well but not for what I wanted to use it for. It says it can be used to connect devices to a wireless network, BUT on the install directions they tell you thats ONLY with a linksys wrt54g, as a bridge, or only another wap54g, as a client. I called back and can't return it.
