Purchased this based on the reviews and Consmers Report as a ''best buy''. Unit looked like new, no cosmetic problems. However when I played a blu-ray DVD there were intermittent issues. The screen would be choppy, and sometimes it would fo blank, just a lot of ''snow'' in the picture. If I left the system running for a while, it would get better. Tried a couple of movies, but they both had the same problem, so it is the player. The picture and sound were good whenn it worked. Would have liked a USB2 input port. Will send it back for a refund (Tiger doesn't do exchanges in Canada which is disappointing since I got discounted shipping the first time since I bought other products with it). |

I haven't had a chance yet to hook this up and test it, but I am concerned. While I understood up front it was a refurbished unit, they usually come in original packaging. This one came in what looked like a manufacturers box, but inside the unit was wrapped with bubble wrap, and since there was extra room in the box it would slide back and forth. Cosmetically it looks fine, but until I have a chance to hook it up, I wont know if it was damaged from the carrier playing football with it. |

I'm very happy with this product. I have it attached to a surround sound home theater amp via component cables and digital coax for sound. The picture is great and the digital sound is excelent. |

So far so good. Great value on a blu-ray player.
I really didn't know that there could be that much of a difference on high definition. It really makes a difference on regular dvds as well. The card slot for cameras card is a great feature. I like it !!!! |

The best part about my purchase of this product was the ability to return it hassle-free. When I unpacked it, and plugged it in, even without inserting a disc, one could see that it had problems. There was intermittent noise across the picture and in the sound, and this situation continued when I inserted a disc. Simple testing anywhere along the way could have prevented this unit from being sent to a customer. I tried my luck with a second unit, but it had similar, if not as severe problems. I finally settled on a Samsung refurbished player, which so far is performing wonderfully. |
