ASUS RTX 2080 Ti Graphics Card, (11GB GDDR6, Model ROG STRIX ROG-STRIX-RTX2080TI-O11G-GAMIN)
The ASUS ROG Strix OC edition is a 3 fan version of the RTX 2080 Ti, that comes with a fairly modest overclock. It should run a little cooler than two fan version of the 2080 Ti.
The RTX 2080 Ti is second to only the ridiculously priced Titan RTX in the graphics card hierarchy. It sits just above the RTX 2080 Super. It has 11GB of GDDR6 VRAM, 4,352 CUDA cores, and has a boost clock of 1.64 GHz. This is a significant jump over the previous gen 1080 Ti, which had 3,584 CUDA cores and GDDR5X VRAM.
As part of the RTX generation, the 2080 Ti also supports ray tracing, which is a technique that developers use to make lighting and shadow effects look much more natural and realistic.
The RTX 2080 Ti scored 2647 in our CompUSA GPU Benchmark Test. This is below the Titan RTX (at 2716), and above the RTX 2080 Super (2456), Titan Xp (2397), and the standard RTX 2080 (2245). The closest competitor from AMD is the Radeon VII, which scored 2111.
In the real world, the RTX 2080 Ti is more than powerful enough to play just about any game at 4k resolution and 60 FPS.
