Originally called Price Club, Costco began in 1976, serving small business. Over time, they changed their model to offer their services to non-business members. This began the growth of the warehouse club model. The first location was in Seattle, Washington. Now operating in eight countries, there are over 700 warehouses worldwide. Their main competiton is the BJ's Warehouse line of stores. In terms of big-box bulk stores, Costco is the creme de la creme. As a member of Costco, you will enjoy great deals on everyday items and household products. As a one-stop shop for all of your needs, for the price of a small annual membership fee you can enjoy huge savings. With a Costco membership, you will benefit from hot deals on the best brands, like Apple, Samsung, Nature Valley, and bareMinerals. You have access to the best prices on home improvement items, household wares, groceries, beauty supplies, and more. The products are affordable, and Costco also offers an array of budget-friendly services, like low-cost insurance programs and maintenance and repair options. They even offer a a mortgage program. Can't find that at Walmart. Some of the more popular items sold at Cosco include bacon - lots of varieties - and chicken. Also popular are there sheet cakes, for families or businesses looking for a cheap, fast alternative to smaller bakeries. One wild item that is a favorite is the 93 inch tall plush bear. Fun for kids, for sure. And remember - many items are sold in bulk or larger than normal size. So the big isn't too out of place here. Another perk people enjoy are the Costco Food Courts, which might not be a fancy place to eat, but can be a quick - and low cost -alternative when you have been out shopping for hours and just need to get off your feet. They offer sandwiches, burgers, pizza, salads and of course their ever-popular $1.50 hot dog and soda.

65" LG E9 4k Premium OLED HDR10 Smart HDTV, Model OLED65E9PUA (2019)
The OLED65E9PUA is the 65" version of LG's 2019 E9 series of OLED TVs. The LG E9 is LG's top end OLED consumer TV for 2019, however it is not that much different from the typically less expensive C9. The only difference between the two sets is sound quality and bezel design. However, these are two of the very best TVs on the market. OLED panels produce remarkable picture quality, and excel with blacks. Viewing angles are also excellent, with no image degradation for close to 180 degrees. Like all OLED's, the E9 only really has two drawbacks. First, if you are a heavy gamer, and you play games with static images (like a HUD), there is a chance that you will run into some burn-in. Second, as great as the picture looks, OLEDs cannot get quite as bright as some QLED TVs, like the Samsung Q90 series.

Acer Nitro 28" Class UHD IPS Gaming Monitor, Model VG280K

Acer Nitro 28" Class UHD IPS Gaming Monitor, Model VG280K
The Acer VG280K is their 28" Class Nitro branded gaming monitor. It supports 3840 x 2160 (4k) resolution, has a 60 Hz refresh rate, and supports AMD FreeSync. As gaming monitors go, this one makes a trade-off. The current trend for higher end monitors is to max out the refresh rate. This monitor sacrifices refresh rate in the name of resolution.

iBuyPower Windows Gaming Desktop (Intel Core i7-9700K @ 3.60GHz, 16GB DDR4, 3TB HDD, 480GB SSD, RTX 2080 Super) Model TRA1348GV2
This is a monster of a gaming PC. Based on the specs, our projected price is $1743. This isn't factoring in features like the included liquid cooling. The included i7-9700K hits the sweet spot for gaming. It gets nearly all of the performance of the i9-9900K at a fraction of the cost. It pairs perfectly with the RTX 2080 Super. The RTX 2080 Super sits just below the RTX 2080 Ti and Titan RTX in our benchmarks. On the high end, it represents the best mix of price vs. performance. The 16GB of DDR4 RAM is good for this system. The benefit of jumping to 32GB would be marginal. The 3TB HDD/480GB SSD is a very good mix. Obviously 3+TB of space on an SSD would be nice, but it would also add incredible cost. The 480GB SSD is enough space to store Windows and your favorite games.

Samsung 75" 8 Series 4k Premium LED HDR Smart HDTV, Model UN75RU800DFXZA (AKA UN75RU8000FXZA) (2019)

Samsung 75" 8 Series 4k Premium LED HDR Smart HDTV, Model UN75RU800DFXZA (AKA UN75RU8000FXZA) (2019)
The UN75RU8000FXZA is Samsung's top 75" LED Model for 2019. You can decode the model number using the following information: U= LED TV N= meant for US, Canada, Korea 75= 75"" screen R= 2019 U= LED TV (again) 8000= 8 Series (slots above 7 series) FXZA= refers to the type of tuner It's not uncommon to see slightly different model numbers. For example, sometimes TV manufacturers release special ""black friday"" editions of TVs that omit something minor, like a 4th HDMI port. Also, Costco and Sam's Club sometimes get their own models, usually omitting the last "0". As for performance, the RU8000 series is very strong. It has a matte screen, so it handles glare well, and it supports Freesync, 4k resolution and HDR. In an interesting note, the 2020 8 series (TU8000) is actually a little worse than the RU8000. Samsung apparently moved every LED tier down a unit.
